H30 Digital Displays & Tier 2 Diesel Engines
It has come to our attention that the H30 digital displays, found on older TT-series models operating with Tier 2 engines, can inadvertently revert back to default Tier 3 settings, rendering the tug temporarily inoperable. The display manufacturer has explained to us that this can occur when there is a loss in power to the display at the same time that the display is saving settings. The error shows as: “ECU Communication Error- Check Can Bus Wiring“. This can be temporarily fixed through a simple procedure that is available from Eagle Customer Service, but will require a replacement H30 be installed for a permanent fix. If this problem does occur, please contact the Eagle Tugs Customer Service Department at 800-671-0431 (+1 734-442-1000) or email us at [email protected]. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
